Recipes:
Hot Lemon Water Flush
8 oz water
juice of 1/2 lemon
pinch of cayenne pepper
Drink first thing in the morning. Flushes kidneys, liver, colon. You may increase the amount of cayenne pepper each day. Lemon juice breaks up mucus deposits, enzymes and vitamin C are natural cleansers.
Inner Beauty Herbal Tea
1 c. dried peppermint
1/2 c. dried oat straw
1/2 c. dried sage
1/2 c. dried alfalfa
Most of these i found in the bulk herbal section of the co-op. Not expensive but i didn't get the entire amount and will buy more if i need to. combine these herbs and store in an airtight container.
either steep in hot tea or make and drink cold. peppermint is good for digestion. oat straw is rich in silica good for teeth, hair, skin and nails. oat straw is also good for chest ailments. sage is an antismasmodic which helps eliminate mucus in the respiratory and stomach.
Hydrating Drink
6 oz water
2 oz apple juice
or water and maple syrup
to drink throughout the day. i also drank a lot of cold green tea.
Next: Potassium Broth and plan for the first few days.
