Day 10, 11, 12

Hi you two.

I am noticing that i am technically writing for days 10, 11 and 12. This week got a little fuzzy blurring the days together. I've spent 4 days on the first phase and will spend 4 on the last phase and spent 3 days on the deep cleanse ending (for me) today.

When I was only taking in liquid I felt a lot lighter and actually not as hungry as I'd thought. I ate at mealtime and snacked on nuts. The book talks about having a lot of energy in this middle phase and i really noticed that!

Integration Phase

drink the apple cider vinegar drink before the mid-day meal protein reintroduction. Cellulite reduction recipes will be used through this phase. feeling good and the book recommends a massage at the end of this. not sure if it's my budget but would be a great thing at this point.

Day 10 (beginning of the third and last phase)

Hot Water Lemon Flush in the a.m.
Inner Beauty Tea Hot Shower
Freah Air Bath, basically going outside in a towel after your shower. Probably not happening over here.

breakfast watermelon
snack protein shake
lunch super salad

Afternoon:
shop, buy ingredients for new batch of potassium broth, fruits, nuts and proteins (chicken, tofu, fish)
She talks about positive attitudes in this section. She suggests journaling some positive affirmations about this cleanse. think in terms of qualities of challenge, commitment and control.


Day 11

Hot Water Lemon Flush in the a.m.
Inner Beauty Tea hot and cold Shower

breakfast papaya

mid morning snack carrot shake (Vruit for me)

lunch super salad

dinner Hijiki stir fry with Potassium Broth (as much as you want)

I will type in the recipe in a separate post after i find out where to buy it or what to supplement with if i can't find.

Bath and breathing exercises at night.

hot water flush
inner beauty tea

breakfast apples

a.m. snack protein drink

lunch fish, chicken or tofu with steamed or raw vegetables
dinner vegetable bisque or broth. brisk walk 30 min. soak feet.

ending.....
calming yoga poses for stress reduction......

fish, shoulderstand, plough, seated toe-pull (seated forward bend). never do an inversion when you have your period.

i will write more about this as I process and decide what i can take from it. I know the eating habits are a good thing to change. i love the fruit breakfast. I feel like i've had healthy food choices over the past two weeks. not perfect but also real. allowing myself to break the rejuvenate regimen but also noticing how my body feels when i eat things not on the list....i know my body reacted to negatively to meatballs on sunday night!!

    I have to agree with you Kathy about feeling lighter and more energetic. I also noticed my tummy is a little flatter, and I don't have the hunger at night after dinner to snack on something later. This was one of my vises (sp?). The biggest thing I think I will get out of this cleanse is to not eat so many carbs during the day, eating more fruits and vegetables, taking in more fluids throughout the day and knowing that I have the will power to eat healthier. I also like that I can always come back to these ideas for cleansing if I'm starting to feel bloated or yucky. I think I will continue the Hydrating drink in the morning and incorportating the Vruit drinks for snack times. It's been hard the last week to eat the recommended dinner menu since our house is on the market and we've had to be gone during dinner for showings. Tonight we are going to Culver's ( I will try to make a healthy choice.) Thanks for the posts Kathy for the next few days!
